Campesino Syrah "Las Madres Vineyard" Los Carneros 2015

We specialise in small-production wineries, and it doesn’t get much smaller than Campesino. Just 65 cases – less than three barrels – were made of the Syrah, coming from Las Madres vineyard, just behind Fremont Diner in Sonoma. Deep, dark, and complex, with a briary, meaty nose, with some chocolate, coffee beans, and black olives as well as cracked black pepper and blackberry and black cherry fruit aromas.
