This is an extremely approachable and very balanced Zinfandel – alcohol is just 12.8% ABV, meaning that the wine is not too heavy at all. The fruits are still nice and ripe, with a plump fruity nose of strawberry, plum, blueberry, boysenberry, and wild flowers leading into a palate that’s juicy but structured with a grainy texture and a pleasing, lingering, peppery finish.
