Broc Cellars Amore Rosso 2017

It’s rare to find a worthy California example of Sangiovese, but here’s one for sure. Coming from a steep, rocky vineyard in Mendocino, this upfront red is fun, fruity, and ripe, with pure, almost jammy fruit. There’s a soft creamy vanilla texture on the palate with a long and spicy finish. All native yeast, minimal sulfur, no other additions, and aged in neutral oak. Perfect pizza or barbeque wine.
