Brick House Gamay Ribbon Ridge 2016

Willamette Valley’s Ribbon Ridge has a lot in common with the soils of Beaujolais, and determined producers such as Brick House are making high-quality Gamay that’s a bit fruitier and spicier than their French equivalents. Bright, floral, and laced with anise, this Gamay is obscenely good, with a forward character on top of a crushed berry core with lifting hints of incense and cracked pepper. One for Gamay aficionados.
