Oregon is best known for their Pinot Noir, but don’t sleep on the Gamay.  The Biodynamic grapes from this winery show stunning freshness and precision that is not exhibited in California versions. Perhaps it’s farming that gives the wine a sense of being alive. Red currants, cherries, baking spices and a denseness that prevents it from being accused of being “too light”.  Hibiscus, cranberry, present acidity and a strong showing of forest herbs.
