Small, highly-regarded Oregon producer established by former CBS war correspondent back in 1989. Made from Dijon clones, which are particularly well suited to Oregon, with no new oak. Great balance to this wine, with high acidity and richness from MLF. Aromas of peach, nectarine, and apricot, with a dairy mouthfeel of cheese, cream, and yogurt. The finish is lingering and spicy. A sophisticated Chardonnay at a very reasonable price.
