Bright, fresh and juicy with a balance of acidity. Aged in steel for 8 to 9 months, the young grapes are bursting with aromas of cherries, blackberries, plums and blueberries. Surprisingly, this is much more than a youthful firecracker, showing tar and leather characteristics typical of Piedmont and even a dash of VA reminiscent of Nebbiolo. This checks all the boxes for an everyday Barbera.
