Bodrog Bormuhely Nagyka Dulo Furmint Bodrogkisfalud Tokaji Hungary 2019

The first vintage from this vineyard, which hugs the Bodrog River in Tokaji, the winery specifically avoids botrytis on its dry wines.  100% Furmint from the Nagyka vineyard, there is some residual sugar, but the 6.7 g/l of acidity provides balance.  The RS does give the wine some heft, adding tropical notes, white gummy bears, bright citrus and notes of petrol. By maintaining tiny parcels of vineyards in historically great sites they are making pure, modern, yet classically inspired dry wines.
