Bodegas Lagarde “Guarda” Cabernet Franc Mendoza 2023

The Luján de Cuyo subregion of Mendoza is located just outside the city limits and is home to many big-name wineries for good reason. The Cabernet Franc has a determined green aroma that is paired nicely with bitter cocoa, pine forest and sandal wood. Plums, ripe red/black fruits and tobacco show a surprising amount of ripeness. The grapes core characteristics are all here with new aromas introduced from its location at the base of the Andes Mountains.
