Blanc Space Ramato Pinot Grigio Rose California 2018

Here is a rosé that is made from the white grape Pinot Grigio, it’s not quite an orange wine but it does spend extended time on its skins lending the color. Ramato is rare outside of the Collio and Friulano regions of Italy, but it’s a style that should be on your radar. Dried apricot notes, nectarine, watermelon, and some salty mineral notes. The mid-palate has a creamy texture with a dry finish of herbs and a slight peach-pit drying finish.
