Birgit und Katrin Pfneisl Zweigelt Austria 2019

Zweigelt from the younger generation of farmers from Hungary, but grown in Burgenland Austria.  To confuse things more it is very much Hungarian, being grown right on the "current" border.  Lighter, prettier, less structured, and more aromatic than many wines from the area.  Cherry filled chocolate, cool-climate stewed fruits, boysenberry, red fruits and figs bars.  It’s in a Liter bottle for a reason. Gulpable!
