From 120-year-old Carignan vines planted in Sandy Lane vineyard near Evangelho in Contra Costa County. Fermentation is 25% whole cluster for texture, grip, and spice aromas. Still very youthful, it’s purple in color with engaging, fresh aromas of crushed red fruits, black pepper, and violets followed by a light body and vibrant acidity. Just 12% – serve chilled over the coming summer.
