BIRA Wines “Nicolo Brunetto” Sangiovese Valle de Uco 2021

“NICOLO BRUNETTO”

Before the Bordeaux investment in Argentina occurred around the 1970’s Italian grapes were the most common plantings. Two friends, winemakers with a passion for Italian wines created BIRA to revive the old plantings. There are small addition of Merlot and Syrah, but the 80% Sangiovese is veritally correct with herbed black cherries, eucalyptus, and savory earth. It is medium bodied in a slightly California style with chocolate and mild pepperiness.
