Benevolent Neglect Mendocino County Counoise 2016

With its moderate alcohol and tannins, combined with good fruit, acidity, and aromatics, Counoise has been part of Rhône blends for centuries but it is rarely seen as a varietal wine. Organically farmed in Mendocino, this is a light-colored and -bodied wine with aromas of redcurrants, raspberries, and red cherries, grainy tannins, and an intense, concentrated structure. Serve slightly chilled.
