Stags Leap "Estate" blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot, 25% Malbec Inaugural release. Mike Smith, winemaker. Vineyard owned by the Steltzner family (the parcel not sold to Odette Winery). The wine boasts bold, dark berry fruits, an earthy spiciness, licorice, black truffle, musk and bittersweet chocolate. Pleasing Bordeaux-like quality to it. 250 cases made.
