Bedrock Pagani Ranch Zinfandel Blend 2021

Majority Zinfandel, though other grapes included in the field blend are Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet, Petit Bouschet, Mataro and Lenoir. The Pagani Ranch swan song for Bedrock Wine Co., shows all the concentration one expects from vines planted in the 1880’s. It takes a little coaxing to pull the fruit through the earthy, mocha, herbal richness. Dark fruits with white pepper, plums, blackcurrants and black cherries are full throttle appealing to anybody who believes “bigger is better”.
