Tiny producer in Austria's Wachau. Johann Bauerl makes nicely earthy, rather brooding, "lusty" Rieslings. This wine captures the fusil-y character or Riesling. Plus crushed rocks, dried citrus skins, pears, apple butter, sea salt. Super-dry, med/high acidity, lots of texture. WINE GEEKS ALERT!
