An unusual blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc for a bold, full, and very appealing style. Lots of red and black fruit aromas - plum, blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry - as well as smoke, earth, cassis, black pepper, and violets, leading into a palate with smooth, mouthcoating tannins and lively acidity. The name “Fraternity” refers to Baldacci’s four sons; likewise, the wine brings its four varieties together for a complete wine.
