Bachelet-Monnot Maranges "La Fussiere" 2017

SKU
5023

2.2 hectares are farmed to produce this lovely wine from the often over-looked commune of Maranges. The “La Fussière” is the largest climat of Maranges and the vines average 60 years of age. 12 months in used casks and an addiotional 6 months in cement give the wine its texture. This all adds to a wine that combines the best of both old world and new world. The fruit is vibrant with red fruits, but the palate is smooth and creamy. This little gem is Nitty-gritty, but oh so pretty.
