Byron Kosuge wanted to make a Napa version of Beaujolais, so he grafted Gamay cuttings onto Pinot Noir vines at "The Shop" vineyard near Napa's Carneros Resort & Spa in 2014. Light by red wine standards, strong by Gamay standards. Dark ruby in the glass, get aromas and flavors of raspberries, blackberries, pomegranates, peppercorns and dried herbs. Perfect for Turkey Day!
