Averna Amaro Siciliano

The good Salvatore Averna developed this more gentle amaro in 1868. Herbs, roots, and citrus rinds macerate in a neutral spirit before a sweetening and coloring with natural caramel. Well balanced between sweet and bitter, Averna is a ‘natch served straight as a digestif, but lends an elegant touch to cocktails as well.
