Auteur Pinot Noir "Manchester Ridge Vineyard" Mendocino Ridge 2013

Vineyard is 2000 feet high and so close to the Pacific you can practically hear the waves crash below. Very low yields(2 tons/acre), about 10% whole cluster ferment, aged in 60% new French oak. Stunning wine: flowers on the nose, with wild cherry, forest floor, dry-aged beef and a long cedar and clove finish. Drink or hold. 192 cases made.
