Arnot Roberts “Peter Martin Ray Vineyard” Santa Cruz Mountains 2020
Sourced from the Saratoga side of the Santa Cruz Mountains the grapes are fermented 100% whole-cluster, basket pressed and aged for 10 months sin neutral French oak barrels. A walk the the pine forests and redwoods is transferred directly to the glass. All rustic earth; mushrooms, truffle, black cherries, and a humus quality. The wine can only be from a cool climate, yet the tannins and the acids to to be fully matured, leading to a soft, dry finish.
