From the producer: "The Handal-Denier vineyard is planted on a steep hillside of decomposing red volcanic rock in Northern Sonoma County. This vibrant white grape originally comes from Campania in Italy but has found a good fit in the warm upper reaches of the Dry Creek Valley. The grapes were harvested at 22 brix and the juice allowed to soak on its skins for an hour before going into the press. The juice was then settled overnight and transferred to stainless steel for primary fermentation with native yeasts. Aging was in neutral French oak barrels for 8 months." 4 barrels made.
