Arbe Garbe White Wine Sonoma County 2019
Both the blend and the label change each year, but the exotic quality remains consistent. This year is 50% Malvasia, 30% Tocai Fruilano, (both spending 12 hours on the skins) and 20% whole-cluster Chardonnay with regular lees stirring. The result is an unforgettable experience: rich, aromatic, unctuous, and gorgeous, with aromas of grapes, peaches, apricots, honeysuckle, and jasmine, with a spicy palate that has a lightly tannic grip. Sumptuous.
