Both the blend and the label change each year, but the exotic quality remains consistent. This year is 55% Malvasia (spending 36 hours on the skins), 33% Ribolla Gialla, and 12% Fruilano (both 24 hours on the skins), with regular lees stirring. The result is an unforgettable experience: rich, aromatic, unctuous, and gorgeous, with aromas of grapes, peaches, apricots, honeysuckle, and jasmine, with a spicy palate that has a lightly tannic grip. Sumptuous.
