Typical of the vintage, this is dark, deep, fruit-forward, juicy, and simple in its deliciousness. Faint whiff & taste of cedar and truffle tells you it's Merlot. Very "international style." ARBALEST: a late variation of the crossbow coming into use in Europe during the 12th century.
