Anta de Cima Talha de Argilla Tinto 2018

Herdade Anta de Cima’s holdings in the Alentejo region are vast and they are effective at growing many things from pine nuts to cork trees.  In 2010 the focus turned to replanting grape vines.  The blend of Alicante Bouschet, Alfrocheiro, Touriga National and Petit Verdot combine for a complex bold, juicy and lengthy wine. Dark berries, black cherry, cracked pepper and nutmeg flavors are rounded out by partial whole cluster vilification and 4 months in 140-liter amphorae called “talha”.
