“CROFT VINEYARD”

One taste of the Sauvignon Blancs from Andrew Rich and you will be scratching your head as to why there is only about 69 acres (or .002%) dedicated to the grape in Oregon. A dead ringer for Pouill-Fumé, none of that basic Sancerre style, this wine is bellowing minerals.  A smoky quality with grapefruit, ginger, peach, nectarine and a steely cleanliness. The acidity is wrapped around the core of the wine, slowly unfurling in a delicate but forceful manner.
