Ameztoi Getariako Txakolina 2018

Txakoli is the traditional wine of the Basque region in northern Spain, known for its light body, low alcohol, and spritz. This is a perfect example: alcohol is just 10.5% and the spritz gives it a really refreshing edge. There are fresh aromas of green apple, pear, grass, jasmine, and honeysuckle, while the vibrant acidity is given some weight by a touch of cream on the palate. Just about as refreshing a wine as you can imagine.
