Alma de Cattleya Chardonnay Sonoma County 2017

This is the fantastic second label by Bibiana González Rave, and it is made with the same talent and precision as her first label, “Cattleya”. This year has fruit coming mostly from Russian River in addition to Sonoma Coast and Carneros. The wine sees 15% new oak for 15 months and has rich notes of Meyer lemon, hazelnut, spring blossoms, brioche, and honeysuckle. The palate is medium bodied, round, and supple, with a crisp finish.
