Alex Foillard Beaujolais Brouilly Magnum 2017

Alex Foillard has been exposed to Gamay and Beaujolais his entire life. His father Jean was part of the “Gang of Four” that focused on natural wine making. His father has greatly influenced his wine making and all his wines have a silky texture and a seductive aromatic component. This wine has fruit that is reminiscent of cherry pie, blueberries, red currants, and a slight smokiness. The tannins are round and very balanced.
