Alegre Valganon Rioja Blanco 2019

A blend of 90% Viura and 10% Garnacha Blanca that sees a variety of vilification techniques including malolactic, skin contact, and long aging in 500-1000 liter foudres. The wine excels by throwing slightly unfamiliar aromas at you with, lime, pomelo, unripe pluot, pear skins, and quinine.  A weighted underlying bitterness is a pleasant surprise that blends naturally with refreshing floral aromas. This wine delivers a lot for the price.
