Albert Grivault Meursault "Perrieres" 1er Cru 2014
SKU
1940
Great producer in Meursault makes a wonderful, cellar-worth "Perrieres." Limestone-heavy, stony ("Perrieres" means STONES) soils make for an intense, citrus and mineral driven wine that should be cellared until 2025 and then enjoyed for 20 years after. Quince, lemon zest, crushed rocks, a little pie crust, Granny Smith apple and grapefruit. It's nervy and built to last. Grivault makes a particularly earth and stone - driven wine...which is easy to do from this vineyard. 2014: excellent vintage.
