Agnes Paquet Auxey-Duresses 2014

Vigneronne Agnes Paquet didn’t intend to make wine, but when her family decided to sell their plot in Auxey-Duresses she bought it herself and started a new career. 2 vineyards right next to each other, one 50 years old and one planted in 2001. Aged 12 months in French oak (15% new). This is an energetic, vibrant Pinot Noir, with very pure cranberry and redcurrant fruits. A smooth, silky palate that has perfect balance and superb length. Exceptional.
