Adelante Malbec Mendoza 2014

High elevation, cool Argentina vineyards. Malbec grows on its own rootstock in clay, loam and sand. 2.5 tons/acre. Aged in about 1/4th new French oak. Lots going on in this full-flavored Malbec with just the right amount of grace. Smell and taste ripe blueberries and blackberries, mocha, porcini mushroom, licorice, roast almonds. Acidity elevates the flavors. Smooth, light spicy finish.
