A Ghost of a Chance "Empty Spaces" Chenin Blanc 2018

This is a textbook Chenin Blanc, coming from Clarksburg, the best and most established area for the grape in California. It goes through partial malolactic fermentation to give the wine a lightly creamy mouthfeel. On the nose it’s really attractive with aromas of peach, apricot, wax, honeycomb, and gentle spice – white pepper and szechuan. The palate has lively acidity and a fine-grained texture, giving the wine a serious edge. Just 24 cases made!
