4 Kilos “Motor America” Callet Mallorca 2020

The rarely exported Callet grape produced by 4 Kilos is native to the island of Mallorca, showing surprising complexity for a lightweight casual drinker. Aged in clay amphora to produce a medium to light bodied wine with red-fruited flavors. Mediterranean herbs, dried roses and pink peppercorns along with smoky black cherries and Medjool dates. Though the wine is light in body it has an energetic acidity on the finish with subtle leather notes.
