First Thursday Bring a "Blind" Bottle Night

Back Room Wines hosts a blind wine tasting (i.e. we don't know what the wine is) where YOU bring the wine!

Bring a bottle of wine in a bag so we can't see it. The wine should be from one varietal OR a classic blend from a known wine region (example, Chateauneuf-du-Pape). Taste the wines that others bring and see how well you can identify the wine. We'll all try to guess the grape(s), where it's from and how much it costs. This is a great tasting if you're a wine student or just curious.
Entry fee for two is one bottle of wine and $5/person to cover the cheese, glassware and such.

Year long "Blind Bottle" contest: Best guessers over the course of the year (12 tastings) win a $100 (1st Place) and $50 (2nd Place) BRW Gift Certificate. Winners bases of percentage of accuracy over all the tastings. Must attend at least six of the tastings to qualify for the prize.

The next Bring a Blind Bottle Tasting is on Thursday, October 7. From 6 to 8 P.M.
We strongly suggest you arrive between 6 and 6:30 to taste all the wines and be here for the unveiling.
Cost to attend is $5/person. Cheese & crackers served.
