Sorry, no future dates scheduled. Taste Tempranillos from around Spain
Tempranillo: the grape of Spain. They're spicy, rich, robust, earthy, oaky, giving, tight: yes indeed, they come in all different styles. The region from which they come makes a lot of the difference. Tonight, we taste them from the most important regions for the grape and taste the difference.
This evening, Back Room Wines pours Tempranillos from Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Toro and more. We'll taste the difference between the regions and enjoy some very good wines from excellent Tempranillo producers.
Here's the line-up:
Bodegas Arrocal Ribera del Duero 2009 $18
Contadero Toro "Vinas Centenarias" 2008 $19
